Description
The new park is located on a former industrial site and offers an opportunity to bring the vegetation of the surrounding beautiful landscape back into town. It is connected to the spa promenade and the open area of the town hall.
The special quality of the design lies in the two lakes confined by formal grass step banks. The dam banks and various platforms allow access to the water. The shape of the lakes and banks in connection with the trees ensure beautiful views through the park, across the lakes and into the surrounding valleys and hills.
Distinctive mark of the new park is the central, 6,0 m tall open pavilion.
Perennials, large areas of bulbs and colourful shrubs along the walkways provide interesting views thoughout the year.
